Download the template and print it on card stock paper for the best quality.

Directions

1. Print out template and cut out.
   • Or make your table using brown construction paper.
2. Glue table to white construction paper.
3. Cut out circles out of the red tissue paper.
   • I traced a bowl about 5 to 6 inch.
   • I’d use at least 5 sheets/layers of tissue paper.
4. Fold circle in half 3 times.
5. Cut the open end in a curve.
6. Open back up tissue paper so it’s back to 1 fold (half circle).
   • Then cut along the fold.
7. Fold it back so you have a heart shape.
   • Cut along the fold.
8. Take apart the tissue papers.
   • You should have individual hearts.
9. Fold the point of the heart up.
   • Place a line of Elmer’s glue along the fold.
10. Wrap the folded heart around green pipe cleaner.
    • Continue steps 9 and 10 till you get your desired rose.
    • Going over wrapped tissue paper and pinching bottom where it connects to stem.
11. Cut the bottom of pipe cleaner to desired length.
    • Optional: Use extra pipe cleaner to add a leaf to stem.
12. Using Elmer’s glue, glue down rose to construction paper.
13. Draw yellow upside down U shape around rose.
