Let’s Read!
Materials & Supplies Needed

- Crayons
Notes
- Reading is so important so let’s give our children incentives for reading and celebrate accomplishments.
- For this activity, there are no guidelines because you know your child better than anyone else and what works best for them. Depending on their age and skill level everyone will be different and each child as well. Example: Color one web or shell a day that they read. Reading anywhere between 15-30 minutes a day depending on the child.
- Celebrate how you want! Celebrate the halfway mark with a treat of their choice and the end may come with a bigger prize or fun family activity.
- Now get reading!

Notes/Ideas
- You will need to cut out the uppercase Mickeys.
- A child can simply match letters on their own. You can play with your child where one has the a-m cards and the other has the n-z, then take turns flipping over and matching letters to your own card.
- Make sure to say the name of each letter every time. Repetition is key to learning!
- Do letter sounds instead of names.
