D is for Dolly!
Materials & Supplies Needed
- Print off the template below
- Felt – Purple and orange
- Buttons
- Sharpie Markers – Green & Brown
- Elmer’s glue
- Scissors
- Colored pencils (optional)
Directions
- Use the cutouts from the second page of the template as a guide to trace and cut out felt, just hair (purple) and dress (orange). Felt can be difficult to cut out so depending on the age of your child they may need assistance with this or you may want to just do it yourself.
- Using Elmer’s glue on the dress.
- Glue on hair, start with the smaller trapezoid closest to her neck then glue layering the other two trapezoids.
- Glue bans, smaller ones first.
- Glue on butterflies where hair and bans meet.
- Glue buttons onto the dress.
- Glue on eyes and mouth.
- Using a green marker draw little dashes at the top and bottom of the dress to look like stitching.
- Use the brown marker to draw on your eyebrows.
- Using a light pink colored pencil lightly draw a little blush onto the cheeks.
- Optional- Color the “Dd”
