Directions

  1. Print out template.
  2. Using colored pencils color in Rabbit and brown background to look like dirt.
  3. Create fence at bottom of page using Elmer’s glue to glue down popsicle sticks.
    • I created a gate but make your fence however you desire.
    • You will need to cut popsicle sticks (parent help).
    • Cutting popsicle sticks in half for my smaller side (under Rabbit) and 1/3 cuts for all vertical sticks.
  4. Using Elmer’s glue, glue a row of orange pom poms for pumpkins then add green decorative shred (or small strips of green paper).
  5. Ball up 3 pieces of tissue paper together to create a cabbage. Glue down a row of cabbage to page.
  6. Glue a row of pipe cleaners down so they are vertical on page (I used 3).
  7. Glue red pom poms around pipe cleaner.
  8. Above Rabbit’s head glue green tissue paper down from pitching the middle of tissue paper to look like carrot stems.
  9. Label with black marker each vegetable.
    • I copied spelling that Rabbit uses.
  10. Make Rabbit garden sign.
    • Cut a popsicle stick in half and cut a small piece for the post of the sign.
    • Write Rabbit’s Garden on popsicle sticks.
    • Glue to top of the page.
  11. Optional: Color “Rr”.
