Materials & Supplies Needed
- Print off the template below
- Pom Poms
- Orange and red
- Green pipe cleaner
- Cut into 1.5-2 inch pieces
- Green tissue paper
- Cut into square about 2×2 inch
- Green decorative shred
- Popsicle sticks
- Black marker
- Elmer’s glue
- Colored pencils
- Scissors
Directions
- Print out template.
- Using colored pencils color in Rabbit and brown background to look like dirt.
- Create fence at bottom of page using Elmer’s glue to glue down popsicle sticks.
- I created a gate but make your fence however you desire.
- You will need to cut popsicle sticks (parent help).
- Cutting popsicle sticks in half for my smaller side (under Rabbit) and 1/3 cuts for all vertical sticks.
- Using Elmer’s glue, glue a row of orange pom poms for pumpkins then add green decorative shred (or small strips of green paper).
- Ball up 3 pieces of tissue paper together to create a cabbage. Glue down a row of cabbage to page.
- Glue a row of pipe cleaners down so they are vertical on page (I used 3).
- Glue red pom poms around pipe cleaner.
- Above Rabbit’s head glue green tissue paper down from pitching the middle of tissue paper to look like carrot stems.
- Label with black marker each vegetable.
- I copied spelling that Rabbit uses.
- Make Rabbit garden sign.
- Cut a popsicle stick in half and cut a small piece for the post of the sign.
- Write Rabbit’s Garden on popsicle sticks.
- Glue to top of the page.
- Optional: Color “Rr”.
